The Future Teaching Institute is a non-profit focused on AI and technology's role in education and what that means for teachers.

AI is already in homes and classrooms. It's shaping how students learn, how curricula are designed, and how schools operate. But teachers are too often left out of the decisions being made about their profession.
The Future Teaching Institute exists to change that. We collect and analyze data on how teachers enter and develop in their profession across countries, study the tools and technologies present in today's classrooms, and help steer the conversation shaping the future.
We are not an ed-tech company. We are not a policy think tank. We are a research-driven nonprofit that believes the future of education must be built with teachers, not around them.
We're building an AI-powered conversational tool where teachers, parents, and students and the general public can share what they're seeing in classrooms — the challenges, the breakthroughs, the fears, and the hopes.
This isn't a survey. It's a conversation. Classroom Voice is designed to listen, to ask the right follow-up questions, and to help us understand the real, lived experience of education today from the people inside it.
FTI will analyze those conversations to share lessons learned and help build solutions that leverage technology and prioritize the humanity in educaiton.
What's one thing about your classroom experience — good or challenging — that you wish more people understood?
My students are already using AI tools on their own. I want to meet them where they are, but I need better training and guidance to do that well.
